This super quality french kingsize bed in solid mahogany comes in very good condition.
The bed is very unique in that it is a kingsize sleigh bed style.
The side rails are very substantial and have a wonderfully Victorian style raised carved corners at each end of both rails.
The headboard and footboard have solid mahogany frames, the centre panels of each have been newly upholstered, with an antique studded border.
The headboard has a very good quality carved crest with a shell and floral details.
The footboard has a swept shape with a solid mahogany panel below the upholstered panel.
Both the headboard and footboard stand on substantial carved escargot legs.
We also have two side chairs that have been recovered in the same fabric for sale.
