Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This beautiful, 19th century English antique linen press is in the original cream paint finish and is adorned with fabulous gesso work, this includes laurel leafs, swags and ribbons along with flambe urn motifs.
Behind the decorated top doors are four linen storage slides, each slide has a reeded front and all run smoothly. The doors also have the original locks with a key.
The drawers are alll pined lined, very good quality and have swan neck handles.
A lovely piece of originally painted pine antique bedroom furniture in superb condition throughout, now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
