Large Japanese Tokyo School Bronze Okimono

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this large and imposing Japanese bronze figure depicting a shamisen player ,the bronze is high quality and extremely well cast, the musician stands one foot upon his box with an amusing cheerful look upon his face, he wears traditional robe and sandals and has a parasol tied to his back,we believe the base is stamped with the seal of a Tokyo school bronze artist.

The condition and patination are superb .
