The chest has wonderful rich figuring to the drawer fronts.
The drawers have the original early paper lining. All locks and escutcheons are present.
With very pretty inlaid marquetry designs above the the two top drawers, depicting musical instruments, with an ebony and boxwood string frieze.
Ornate brass star motif handles.
Standing on bracket feet.
In excellent antique condition, with general, expected but minimal signs of age and use, lovely rich colour to the wood.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Bees-waxed and polished.
