This solid walnut LouisXV style French bed is in very good condition.
The headboard has a carved walnut panel set inside a solid walnut frame that has a swept shaping. The frame has a beautiful intricate pierced carving of leaves and flowers.
The footboard also has a carved walnut panel set inside a solid walnut frame which has carved flowers to the top and base. The inside of the footboard has been newly upholstered in a contemporary fabric.
The solid walnut cabriolet legs are carved and sit on escargot feet.
The side panels are carved with a leaf design which complements that on the headboard .
The bed comes with a newly fitted set of substantial bed slats.
