Large Fine Quality Japanese Bronze Okimono Rat

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this large and fine quality Japanese bronze okimono of a rat, the rodent sits on his rear legs tailed coiled for balance whilst holding a patinated bronze chestnut in his front paws,lifelike dark eyes and fine hair detail are just two of the attributes of this fine bronze, signed to the underside in a seal signature (possibly reads Hoju Chu), a great rat okimono.

The condition is very good with minor underside wear to be expected for its age.
