Superb Boxed Set of Cold Painted Bronze Menu Holders

A really wonderful set of four menu holders each a pair of dogs in cold painted bronze. Each pair of dogs are beautifully modeled in bronze and delicately painted, they are mounted on onyx and chrome plated bases. The menu holders are still in the original silk lined box. The whole is in the most superb condition with only the slightest wear to the paintwork. It does appear that all the metal was chromed, even the dogs before painting as it can be seen through the paintwork, but the bronze can be seen under the chrome in areas of wear. C.1920
