A fine example of a 19th century linen press in mahogany. It is of exceptionally elegant proportions having a low waist with tall slim doors above. The plain-moulded protruding cornice surmounts a linen press top section having a full complement of pull-out slides. These can be taken out and stored, and a brass clothes rail fitted; this compartment has a total internal height of 1085mm. All of the drawers are lined in solid mahogany and they retain their original turned knob handles. There is a working door key to the original gilt-brass lock.
