Dating from 1840, this super quality antique chaise longue in very original and complete condition.
This antique chaise longue has the original,paper 'Howard & Sons' label underneath and the chaise is still upholstered in the original, Howard and Sons backing fabric.
Traditionally upholstered and complete with the original lift off, reversible squab seat cushion.
The back arm rest is secured o brass threaded screws and pins, it can be easily removed entirely or used on the opposite side, making this antique Howard and Sons chaise longue, ambidextrous.
In very good, solid condition, now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
