It is topped with a bow fronted cornice, having dental moulding, which sits above two doors with beautifully figured quarter veneered panels. The doors also have moulded edges , decorative carved motifs, a brass clash mould and the original quality brass handle. The interior has a single fixed shelf above a brass hanging rail. The whole piece stands on splayed bracket feet and is a lovely warm rich shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
