The chaise boasts (when facing) a right-hand raised sweeping and carved arm. The back frame, which is also carved, sweeps down finishing near the level of the seat. The front of the chaise has a straight front and the end of the chaise has a raised shaped up stand. The chaise is upholstered in embossed purple upholstery and finished with purple braiding. The chaise features its original brown mug and studded brass-collar castors, original turned legs to the back and front. The frame and legs are constructed of solid walnut. This is a very good quality chaise longue. The chaise features the original polish; therefore they boast a rich deep oak colour and patination.

It has a beautiful deep rich patina, which has been generated by the years of cleaning and care it has received. This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction and is original throughout. It is rare to see one in such good condition. This item would certainly grace any home. Condition Report:
This chaise longue is in very good condition. The frame, back and legs of this chaise are completely original. The polish finish to the mahogany frame is original and is in excellent condition. Importantly, the back rail and side arm are firm and there is no play in the joints. The embossed brocade upholstery and braiding is clean and free of damage; holes or wear and tear. The springs in the seat are firm and in good condition. The four legs stand firm on the floor and the chaise does not wobble. The brown mug ceramic castors & brass-studded collars are original. The chaise is solid in joint and is ready to use.
