The suite consists of a pair two matching couches. The suite is constructed of solid walnut and features a very pretty carved cartouches and a floral frame, which terminates in cabriole legs all round. The suite has been freshly upholstered in top quality embroidered floral silk upholstery. The armchairs features scroll arms; shield backs, shaped sides and a serpentine front. The back rail features stunning floral carvings to the centre of the pediment. The base of the suite is firmly sprung so that you do not sink into the seats but at the same time is extremely comfortable.
Condition Report:
This pair of couches is in excellent condition. They have been freshly upholstered therefore the upholstery is in excellent condition (clean and no signs of wear or tear and damage). The carved frames and arms are also in excellent condition with no splits or loose joints. The backs and arms are solid. Free of woodworm, all round solid in joint and ready to use.
