The moulded cornice sits above two beautifully figured flamed mahogany doors with moulded edges and key with working lock. The interior has a single brass hanging rail and has an internal depth of approximately 19". The wardrobe stands on elegantly shaped bracket feet while its simple and stylish design, heavily influenced by earlier periods, is well suited to its relatively small proportions. The mahogany is a medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
