A fine Victorian period Georgian revival sofa in walnut. The sofa stands on wonderfully carved ball and claw feet, with carved shells to the knees. The shape of the sofa is wonderfully elegant with roll over ends and a camel back sweep on the back. The sofa also has a reclining back which makes it much more comfortable than the eighteenth century original. The whole has been recently upholstered in a light green damask with matching seat cushion and has an arrangement of matching throw cushions. The whole is in excellent condition. C.1880.
