The Vintage Interiors has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The armoire has bombe sides and has two wonderful original mirrors.with original bevelled edge mirrors.
The armoire has an arched shaped canopy with a classic carved shell typical of the Louis XV style.
The carving is very good quality and has pierced floral carving with intricate carving to the shell.
The base of the armoire has two ornately carved front feet shaped feet to the rear.
The intricate carving is continued to the front sides around the mirrored doors and below the doors.
There is a small area of repaired veneer around one door, please see photo, the photo looks worse that it actually is.
The armoire comes with a working lock and key.
