Both signed and dated to rear , "1846 & 1847" and "Comte D'Orsay Sculpt". The French dandy ,artist and sculptor Alfred-Guillaume Gabriel (1801-1852) was a member of the French peerage and titled The Count of Orsay , and who gained a reputation as a renowned socialite and aesthete .Good detailed castings depicting the subjects in full-bottomed legal wigs and formal court dress lace cravats. H 11 " overall. H (bronze)5.5" & 6". France 1846/7.
