French Deco Model of Mother and Calf Elephant. Bronzed Hard Metal on Marble Base.

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb model of mother and following calf elephant , made from a hard metal with a bronze finish and standing on a marble base.

The modelling of these elephant is excellent with a fine attention to detail, for example the skin wrinkles and folds which are very realistic.

There is however a decaying of the tusks as shown in the picture.

The overall measurements are

27 ins long

7 ins deep

14 ins high to the top of the trunk.

Due to the weight of this item Courier transport will be provided at our costs within the UK. For overseas, Air Freight would not be advised so delivery would be 6-8 weeks at buyers cost.
