Georgian Bow-front Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

Here on offer is an elegant George III chest of drawers of good quality.

c1790.

This pretty bow-fronted chest has lovely flame figuring to the drawer fronts. Having two short over three long graduating, cock-beaded drawers.

With elegant oval brass swing handles.

All escutcheons and locks are present.

Standing on splayed feet.

The overall condition is very good, with general expected signs of age and use, very minor knocks and bumps, historical marks to the top. All very expected signs of age and use for the age of the chest.

Very solid sturdy and strong. All drawers are oak lined, solid and open easily.

Bees-waxed and polished.

The dimensions are

Height-104cm.

Width-106cm.

Depth-51.5cm
