Early Victorian Mahogany Two Door Wardrobe

Fantastic quality early Victorian mahogany two door wardrobe dating to circa 1840. With a rounded moulded cornice above two flame mahogany arched fielded panel doors with bold undulating mouldings and standing on a plinth base.
 
The interior is well fitted with hooks, two pull-out sliding trays and four graduating short drawers to the left and along hanging section with hooks and a base drawer to the right. The right door is fitted it’s original lock by Clark & Timmins and comes with a working key. Hanging rails could easily be added if preferred the inside depth being 46.5cm (18 1/4in).
 
Excellent colour & grain to the timbers, solidly constructed and unusual for a two door wardrobe in that it splits into four sections for moving and ease of delivery (see below). The front is in good condition but there is veneer loss & splits to the sides at the top and on the plinth, there is also a section of moulding missing from the back of the cornice the right side.
