Large Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Antique Double Wardrobe

This Edwardian, circa 1900, inlaid mahogany antique double wardrobe has relatively large proportions. It has a moulded cornice that sits above two beautifully figured doors with satinwood cross banding along with boxwood and ebony string inlay. The doors also benefit from a brass clash mould and key with working lock. The interior has a handing rail and hooks. The base contains a deep drawer with original brass handles while the whole piece stands on shaped bracket feet. This good quality wardrobe is full of charm and character from years of use and is still able to provide a substantial amount of hanging space. It is a medium shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
