Description

Very individual and handsome all brass Victorian bed with knees, husks spindle and curl detail that give this bed it's delightful individuality whilst maintaining an elegance. Original castors. This bed has been lacquered in the past and is in good condition so the brass has been preserved and looks gently aged without magpie shininess of newly polished examples.

Side rails are strong and joints good fit;suitable for king size 5' x 6'6" mattress size.

It also exhibits good proportions and is not too high or dominant with the headboard height at 53", foot board height at 45" and side rail height at 14".

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

We can also supply mini box bases 2" with platform top (£225) or 4"with springs (£275)for better mattress support and get into bed height. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
