A Chippendale Period Linen Press in Exceptionally Original Condition

18th century
Description

Standing on O-gee feet with 4 oak lined drawers with penny-ring and swan-neck handles, the top carcass with large panels of figured mahogany and astragal moulding, behind which are the linen trays themselves which pull out onto runners mounted on the inside of the doors. Finally the cornice is finely moulded and fluted. This piece is in very original condition and is of good faded colour and patina. 1735 mm high, 1245 mm wide and 610 mm deep. Circa 1760.
