19th Century Cold Painted Bronze Figure Group

Description

Good late 19th to early 20th century Continental probably Austrian cold painted bronze figure group. Piece depicts a horse standing underneath a large tree with white flowers / buds.

Very nicely decorated with fabulous mellow colours. The condition is pretty good for age but there is some loss of paint in various places but this is too be expected on a piece such as this.

There are no makers marks that I have been able to find but it is very much in the style of the famous maker Bergman.

SIZE; 10" high. 9" across
