Description

Regency Antique Mahogany Sofa in Zany Fabric.

This is the best quality, English antique mahogany sofa that dates from around 1820.

A good, large and impressive size, in excellent condition with the mahogany timber in the original rich finish.

The hand carving are extremely well done and all the large brass cup castors are present.

The original squab seat cushion is on the sofa which has been well re-upholstered in a pop art, Liza Minnelli tribute fabric.

Also accompanying this antique mahogany sofa is a period, framed print of a near identical sofa from the same period, the print is dated 1821.

Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

Depth: 66cm (25.98")

Additional Information: The seat is 49cm high.
