This superb example has two short over three long graduating drawers. The bottom drawer is extra deep as the extra depth is disguised as part of the plinth base.

With superior quality figured burr walnut which is exceptional. The colour of the wood is truly out-standing, rich and warm with a beautiful striking grain.
Each drawer has the original brass escutcheons and locks, with turned handles. Each drawer is mahogany lined, showing the quality of the chest. All drawers are very sturdy and open smoothly.

Standing on flattened bun-feet.
The condition is very good, with signs of use consistent with age. Lovely rich patina.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
