This superb cabinet is made of solid Oak, with beautifully carved designs in the 17thc style.
The cabinet door has a moulded panelled front with geometric designs, with centre Lions head, having very charming carved grotesques to each side. The interior has a single shelf giving ample storage.
The gadroon carvings continue to each side of the cabinet.
With a scoop carved plinth base.
The colour is a rich medium oak, with lots of character and warmth.
The condition is very good, with general expected signs of age and use, minor marks to the top, visible in the pictures, but exceptionally good for the age of the cabinet.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Bees-waxed and polished.
