To the mirror-back is a small, shaped shelf with fluted, corinthiam column supports, with carved panel below.
The base of the sideboard has two central drawers with open space below, decorated with very pretty carved corners, of fruiting vines and leaves, with central shell design, flanked by two shelved cupboards with raised panelled doors, having drawers above. The drawers and cupboards are mahogany lined with their original interiors. The right lower shelf cupboard has space for a cellarette, but the drawer is missing. With very pretty brass handles and escutcheons. Each door has working locks and keys.
