William IV Mahogany Breakfront Wardrobe, Possibly Irish

An impressive William IV breakfront fitted wardrobe of superb quality and dating to circa 1830. It is made with exceptionally well figured flame mahogany veneers which are matched to each side. We think this stunning piece of furniture may be Irish.
 
The central section has a serpentine shaped cornice centred by a mask of a long haired girl and with scrolling carved corbal supports to each side. There are two full length moulded panelled doors below and these are flanked by further panelled doors with c-scroll carvings to the top of the panels. The whole piece stands on a plinth base.
 
The centre doors open to reveal the original fitted interior with four open trays above two short and two long graduated drawers fitted with brass handles. There are extra grooved runners for the trays so they can be moved if required or additional shelves could be added (or even a hanging rail).
