Good Victorian Decorated Pine Wardrobe. Un-touched.

Description

FINE original un-touched condition early Victorian decorated pine wardrobe of the most fabulous colour. Probably Scottish, this piece would have been made for one of the lesser bedrooms of a large Scottish country house.

Very nicely grained wide pine used with beautiful original painted decoration throughout including tulip wood type banding round the drawers, doors and cornice. The mirror door opens and also the left hand part is a door also. Full length hanging inside with bar across and original brass hooks to the back. Drawers with original porcelain knobs.

This is as good a pine wardrobe as I've seen for some time. Requires a couple of small repairs to the right hand side front edge where the door opens otherwise very good for age.

SIZES; 65" wide by 23 1/2" from front to back by 84" high
