Description

18th Century Period Oak Antique Settle.

This antique oak settle dates from around 1760 and is from the North of England.

An unusual model, this settle has four raised and moulded panels in the back, this has a good rake which makes it comfortable to sit against.

The original strung seat is finished with an upholstered seat cushion.

The settle has a pegged construction and is a very good original, all over colour.

The block legs feature turnings and are connected by moulded stretchers.

A good example of a Georgian antique oak settle in very good order and is now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.

Height: 108cm (42.52")

Width: 183cm (72.05")

Depth: 71cm (27.95")

Additional Information: The seat is 46cm high.
