A small and very elegant late Regency/William IV Chaise Longue. The Chaise is of typical Regency design with a scroll roll over arm and similar shaped back. It stands on good high turned and tapered legs all with original castors. The chaise is of a useful small size and could also work as a window seat. The upholstery is in pink damask fabric which has been on for some time and has a gentle faded quality, typical of old country house furniture, the fabric and upholstery is however in superb useable condition. This is an elegant piece, of small desirable size, with a great faded look, and the whole is in excellent condition. C.1830.
