As part of our oriental collection we are thrilled to be able to offer this most impressive and fantastic quality Japanese Meiji period bronze tiger , it is difficult on the photo's to portray the sheer scale of this cat , he is very long and sleek at 32.5" and weighs in at a hefty 11.7kg , signed in a tablet on the underside ,due to his size and quality we first assumed him to be by Seiya however we have not yet managed to trace this signature.

The detailing is as good as you could get with large sharp bronze teeth ,glass eyes and amazing attention to detail on the entire length of his body .

Wether you collect Japanese objects or just love wild cats , this is about as realistic as you could wish to find , a great centrepiece for you collection !!

The condition is simply superb and original with only minor wear commensurate with age .
