Here are two more dogs from our private collection of cold painted bronzes, both of these handsome beasts are late 19th early 20th century and have obviously once stood on marble or onyx bases as so often was the case in the Edwardian period.

The first is a very heavy and chunky Bulldog with his teeth bared but in a non aggresive manner , he is well modelled and painted and has a chunky collar , his condition is great with minor wear and tear for age.

The second is a very finely painted retreiver that has bought home a pheasant in his mouth,again the condition is superb with only minimal paint wear commensurate with its age early 20th century, a great bronze group.
