Lovely 19th C Bergmann Austrian Cold Painted Bronze

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our private collection of 19th century cold painted bronzes we are pleased to offer this delightful little rodent on a carpet study , Franz Bergman so often used a carpet as a base for his bronzes , this little chap possibly a vole ? sits patiently on the carpet waiting for some scraps no doubt , the condition is as good as you could wish for , the underside is stamped with a date mark plus F.Bergmann 459 also GESHUTZT.
