Schmidt-telling: A Fine Pair of Bronzes

Description

A lovely PAIR of late 19th century BRONZE FIGURES of a young rural couple: he wears a cape and carries a wine flagon, whilst she wears a headscarf and carries a pot in her right hand.

Both are beautifully modelled and retain their original warm colour and patina. Both are also signed Schmidt-Telling in the 'manque'. About 12 ins (30cms) high including the plinths.
