Two Japanese Bronze Okimono on Wooden Bases Meiji 1868-1912

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are pleased to be able to offer this great matched pair of Japanese bronze figures on their original wooden bases .

The first depicts a woodcutter sat on his stack of logs taking a well earned break and enjoying his rather large opium pipe .

The second one depicts a fisherman who has just rescued his catch from the hook and prepares to cast again.

Both okimono are nicely detailed and fitted to their original wooden base , great condition and ready to add to your Japanese or bronze collection.

They are priced individually at £245 each however we would offer a discouned price of £450 for the pair !
