Unusual Victorian brass and iron king size bed suitable for 5' x 6'6" mattress size. Original brass knobs and collars have lovely detail. Eleven uprights with attractive casting detail and brass rod end with extra brass rail decoration in foot end.Original porcelain castors. The bed has been sympathetically restored in our own workshops including ensuring accurate fit of side rails with strengthening to same, shot blasting painting in vintage powder blue/greyand waxing and brass cleaning whilst maintaining the aged brass appearance.

Head height 56", foot height 39" Side rail height 12"

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

We can also supply mini box bases 2" with platform top (£225)as used for photograph; or 4"with springs (£275)for better mattress support and get into bed height.(as used for photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
