A 18th Century Very Long Oak Settle
The Settle has intricately carved back panels, 5 in all
The bench is a real country piece with Shepherd’s crook arms and pad feet, unusually the settle is an upholstered piece but this seems to be original though the fabrics will have been replaced over the years, the fabric on it now is good strong Victorian cotton ticking which is in good sound condition as is the springing etc.

Taking into consideration the age of this piece it is in splendid condition
The settle is 40” high at the back and 72” wide, it is 27” deep, the seat is 22” deep and 22” high
Ref: LF42
