Description

superb quality french empire single bed in wonderful flame mahogany with scroll ends and inset gilt metal decoration.

this delightful bed or lit en bateau is made with both ends being of equal height and one side higher than the other and polished, the other designed to go against a wall or in an alcove, fitted with wooden castors.

some scuffs etc commensurate with age and natural lightening in the polish at one end but overall this lovely bed is in very good condition and is not done justice by the photgraphs.
