Original French Finest Quality 5 Piece Salon Suite, Circa 1880 in the Louis XVI style
The upholstery of this set, seems to be original, there is a little wear and the faded dusty pink silk brocade has a genuine faded shabby look, but there are no holes or tears, the edging trim has however been very sympathetically replaced.
The suite is made up of a Pretty 2 Seater Settee, 2 Comfortable Arm Chairs and a pair of salon Chairs The condition over all is excellent and it is rare indeed to find a set that has not been split and also in such remarkable condition of old world faded elegance
The Sofa is 48” long, and 38” high at the back, the Armchairs are 26” wide and 38” high at the back with a seat height of 19”
