Small Mid 18th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

A lovely sized mid 18th century solid mahogany chest of 2 short over 3 long drawers , this little chest is in good order for its 250+ yrs , solid mahogany top and sides with original planked backboards and dovetailed oak drawers with vertical linings of the period , super brass hardware further enhance the mahogany cock beaded drawer fronts , either side of which sit half round vertical columns all further supported by the sturdy bracket feet.

The condition for a chest of this age is great and ready for immediate use , there have been two or three minor slithers of mahogany let into the top edges over the years, the whole chest has now been lightly polished to its super original colour and now ready for your bedroom lounge or hallway , despite its size its a very heavy quality solid chest !!
