James Ribbons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It measures 48 inches wide, 24 inches deep and is 72 inches high.
The interior contains all the original sliding trays . The drawers all run smoothly, all locks are working . The drawers are fitted with the original brass drop handles.
The condition is very good as the press has just been overhauled by our cabinet maker.
One of the appealing features of this piece is the size. Unlike so many linen presses, this one would probably fit into the average size home.
The press breaks down into two sections so would probably go up most staircases.
