Castleforge Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Internally there are three deep oak lined sliding trays and also a later brass hanging rail so that the trays can be removed for full hanging space. The base has two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles. It is moulded to the base and stands on ogee bracket feet. The top separates for ease of transporting.
Measures: 75" high x 23" deep x 41" wide x internal height 39.5" (top) x internal width 39"
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the Regency period.
