Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Holmes Antiques

Early 18th century clothes press of fine small proportions in superb quality cuban mahogany, retaining all its original brass ware and remarkably the original key, in fact it is hard to find something about this piece thats not original. This is a real quality piece of early Georgian furniture the lock is first class and the doors close really well and don''t suffer from any of the warping or shrinking often seen in such pieces. Although this is essentially a piece of bedroom furniture it would sit well in almost any room of the house such are its proportions.
