This is a superb piece 19th Century Carving, the head board has the characteristic Breton Wheel of Life in the centre, while the foot board has 2 scenes one of the young couple and the other of them when they are older, as an expression of hope for a long life together, and the sides too are carved
The bed is 56” wide and 78” long, the top is 60” high, the interior size is 54” x 73”
