Wardrobe French Satinwood and Burr Elm Victorian Republic Georges Guerin C1890

Here we have a fine quality break front Wardrobe made by Georges Guerin Paris c1890. As you can see the wardrobe has beautiful colour from the Satinwood finish. The carcass and panelled back are all made from solid Oak. The Satinwood is herringboned on to the Oak with stunning burr Elm panels inlaid with Boxwood and Ebony stringing. Being French of course this wardrobe dismantles in to small manageable pieces and is very easy to erect. There are the original locks and keys in place with original mirrored plate which is in very good condition. The quality of the gilded ormolu mounts is excellent and there is a makers label for Georges Guerin of Paris. There is lots of hanging space across all three sections. A fine quality piece in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 68 inches wide 90 high 20 deep (breakfront 23).
