This is a stunning early 19th century mahogany linen press

English and dating to around the 1820's this really is a stunning piece of furniture

With a fabuolus hand carved pediment which is very crisp and really finishes the whole piece off

To display its quality the cabinet-maker who made this piece really thought about the detailing, and has added ebony trim around the drawer fronts, the panels on the doors as well as the plinth and cornice

It has been cleaned and polished and has a fantastic colour and patina

H 90 inches

W 52 inches

D 24.5 inhces
