Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Chaise Longue in the Regency Style and dating from around 1890. It has a lovely serpentine shaped back with mahogany showframe with carved rosette to the centre and deep button back and side rest with lovely scrolled end and carved mahogany front support. It has a deep stuff over seat above a mahogany skirt carved with swags and carved rosette panel to the centre. It stands on squared tapering legs on a spade foot. Upholstered in a pale velvet.

Measures: 31" high to back x 33" high to scroll end x seat height 16" x 26" deep x 62" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and grain to the quality mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
