Antique European Pewter Pepper Pot of Large Size, Circa 1780

Description

Antique European pewter pepper pot of large size, the body is of bulbous form standing on a hollow flared foot. The top is pierced with a decorative pattern of holes and surmounted with an acorn finial.

The condition is excellent, with signs of use, the top unscrews easily. The pepper had a polished silver grey finish with traces of oxide.
