Description

One of the most wonderful desk bells I have had, highly sought-after, this hefty solid brass example has a clear hunting theme and would make a wonderful desk-top accessory.

The bell is rung by the pressing down the lever to the side which then rings the bell, this one has the most wonderful crystal clear ring, a really good sound.

The central column joining the bell to the base features a large hunting bugle topped with Oak leaves and acorns, through the centre of the bugle stands the regal looking hunting dog.

Victorian in era, dating to around 1880, it remains in excellent condition. The base measuring 3 1/8" in diameter and standing 7 3/8" to top of finial.
